INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY HOSTS TRADITIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT

International Vision University hosted its traditional chess tournament, with the opening ceremony conducted by the university's Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can and Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Fadıl Hoca.

During the tournament, one of North Macedonia's renowned chess masters, Dr. Osman Salı, played simultaneous matches against 15 students. This thrilling encounter provided students with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills, while also benefiting from Dr. Osman Salı's vast experience.

The event was organized with the aim of further promoting chess within the university and helping students develop strategic thinking habits. The tournament drew significant interest, and the unifying power of sports was once again evident in both the academic and social settings.

After the tournament, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can commented, “Such events offer our students the opportunity to develop themselves in different areas. As a university, we will continue to support sports and the arts.”

The tournament, which has become a tradition, concluded with positive feedback from participants and has already generated excitement for the next event.
