INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY CELEBRATED ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A MAGNIFICENT CEREMONY

International Vision University marked its 10th anniversary and 7th graduation ceremony with grandeur. During this special event, the university's successful students celebrated their graduation with great enthusiasm.

The opening speech was delivered by the Rector of International Vision University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can. He emphasized the university's rapid progress since its establishment 10 years ago and highlighted its commitment to quality education. Following him, the Founding Rector of International Vision University, Prof. Dr. Fadıl Hoca, gave an emotional and proud speech about the university's ten-year journey. He stated, “This educational initiative, which we began 10 years ago, now produces graduates recognized across European countries who achieve great success. Together, we have done everything we can for the success of our university and our students, and we will continue to do so.”

The Mayor of Gostivar, Dr. Valbon Limani, was the first to deliver greetings during the ceremony. He stated, “The educational development in Gostivar is rapidly advancing thanks to the contributions of International Vision University. The success of your university is a source of pride for our region.”

The Mufti of Gostivar in the Republic of North Macedonia, Haji Sabaudin Efendi Zendeli, also delivered a welcoming speech. He emphasized that events promoting education and science contribute to the development of societies and praised the university for providing students not only with academic knowledge but also with moral and cultural values.

Prof. Dr. Filiz Kılıç, Deputy Chairperson of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, expressed her pleasure in attending the ceremony. She said, “The achievements of International Vision University are of great importance not only for the Turkish community in North Macedonia but for the entire region. I hope these educational successes continue to grow.” Kılıç also conveyed greetings from MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, along with those from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

Prof. Dr. İlyas Topsakal, Deputy Chairperson and MP of MHP in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, praised the university's strong vision in education and its regional achievements. He emphasized that education and culture are the most important values that unite societies and commended the leadership shown by International Vision University in this regard.

Fikrim Damka, Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kosovo and Chairperson of KTDP, celebrated the university's pioneering role in regional education. He highlighted the importance of strengthening the ties between Kosovo and North Macedonia through education and recognized the university’s commendable contributions.

Erdoğan Saraç, Chairperson of the Turkish National Unity Movement, underlined the value the university has added to education in the Balkans. He stated, “International Vision University is an institution reflecting the educational strength of the Turkish community in our region, and we wish the university continued success.”

During the ceremony, awards were presented to individuals who made significant contributions to the foundation, development, and promotion of International Vision University.

An Outstanding Service Award in the name of MHP Chairman Dr. Devlet Bahçeli was presented to MHP Deputy Chairperson Prof. Dr. Filiz Kılıç by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can.

Additionally, the Founding Rector, Prof. Dr. Fadıl Hoca, presented an award to Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hamzaoğlu, a prominent figure in the research of the history of Turks in the Balkans.

Kosovo’s Minister of Regional Development and KTDP Chairperson, Fikrim Damka, received an Outstanding Service Award from Prof. Dr. Abdülmecit Nuredin.

Another significant moment of the ceremony was the presentation of an Outstanding Service Award to the Mayor of Gostivar, Dr. Valbon Limani.

Service awards were also given to North Macedonia Constitutional Court Member Fatmir Skender and Gostivar Mufti Haji Sabaudin Efendi Zendeli by UVÜ Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mensur Nuredin and Prof. Dr. Zoran Filipovski.

Among other award recipients were Halkbank General Manager Dr. Bilal Sucubaşı, Gostivar Magistrate Elesa Ali, and ADEKSAM Chairperson Tahsin İbrahim. Additionally, an award was presented to MTV4 Turkish Broadcast Editor-in-Chief Eran Hasip.

The ceremony also honored the university’s top graduates with plaques. The graduation ceremony concluded with the traditional cap-throwing event, as students celebrated their achievements with great excitement after years of hard work.

This magnificent ceremony was recorded as a symbol of International Vision University’s confident strides into the future. All members of the university’s academic staff and students shared the pride of this special day, adding another milestone to the institution’s history of success.
