A WORKSHOP ON THE MENTAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH OF VULNERABLE YOUTH DURING AND AFTER DISASTERS WAS ORGANIZED AT VISION UNIVERSITY

Hosted by Vision University, a workshop titled "The Mental, Psychological, and Emotional Health of Vulnerable Youth During and After Disasters" was organized. The international project coordinator and opening speech of the workshop were delivered by the Vice Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mensur Nuredin, while academics Prof. Dr. Aybeyan Selim and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Havva Şaban made significant presentations on the topic.

The workshop attracted great interest from students, experts, and other participants. During the program, ways to enhance the psychological resilience of young people after disasters, strengthen emotional support mechanisms, and effective intervention methods during crises were discussed.

At the end of the workshop, certificates were presented to the participants, and an evaluation survey was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the event. Participants stated that the workshop was very useful and expressed the need for similar events to be organized in the future.

Vision University declared its commitment to continue hosting such events that support the psychological well-being of young people.
